Hyatt Cardholder Rebate Promotion
Each year Hyatt has offered an amazing deal giving up to 20% points rebate to cardholders of their co-branded Chase cards. That deal got Shawn to sign up for the card in the past and he enjoyed stays in Kauai among other places for 20% less than normal. Today Hyatt has sent me a similar deal, although the rebate is only 10%. This works for holders of the old Hyatt card and the new World of Hyatt credit card.

- To qualify for this offer, account must be open at the time of fulfillment.

Analysis
I love this promotion since Hyatt is my preferred hotel partner. This gets me 10% off my award stays during the summer months. That is a lot value that is closer to 20% off if you value those points at 2 cents a piece. This also makes reaching status cheaper and easier.
Conclusion
I have said in the past that the World of Hyatt credit card is the best hotel credit card out there. It has a rewarding earning structure, allows you to earn elite credits, and a chance to earn a free night cert. These promos are just icing on the cake!

So if I already booked the stay with points for a stay in July, I guess I won’t receive the bonus since the redemption is upon booking. I can’t cancel and rebook because it is a non refundable booking. Thanks for the heads upon this deal though!
I think you will still get it. In the past when you complete the stay is when you get the points back.
OMG… this is a SWEET promotion as I already have 2 major redemption bookings (at Hawaii of course) that fell perfectly in the promotion period and boy… was I lucky… the last and largest of all, 5 nights at GH Kauai, booked last year pre-devaluation and I am checking out on 9/2!!!
They could have said 8/31 or 9/1… they knew when I am checking out 🙂
Of course no Hyatt point redemption is complete without few nights at Andaz Maui. 3 night stay before the Kauai there alone will give me back 7500 points. also booked at pre-deval.
