World of Hyatt 2023 Promotion Update
A couple of days ago I covered a strange new Hyatt promotion that seems to be ready to be released to the public. Some members received the offer from their Globalist concierges, but most did not. Additionally, the promotion seems to start on January 4, however it looks like it wasn’t ready to be released to the public.
Leaked Offer Details
As I covered in my original post the other day, here are some of the potential offers that could be going out to members:
- Stay three nights get a category 1-4 cert
- Double Elite Qualifying Nights – Registered members will receive double night credit for every eligible night completed between January 4th and March 19th, 2023. Registration runs between January 4th and February 28th.
- Get 2,000 points for each non-consecutive night stay

New Information Has Come to Light
While it doesn’t seem like this new Hyatt promotion has been released yet, some people on Flyertalk have noticed code for a promo on the Hyatt website. Here is what one member had to say:
well, I checked the source code of my account, and I am eligible for a “HVC Discoverist Upgrade”, where the registration date started back in 2022 and ends on 28 Feb 2023. so unsure, how realistic these “promotions” are in the source code.

Several other members also chimed in that they had similar code on their accounts, however there are several versions of the offer. For example, I checked my account and found the following code.

I have also seen reports of a TARGTFLAT1, TARGTFLAT2 and even a TARGTFLAT9 so who knows how many different versions of the offer there are. This news combined with the previous reports does seem to confirm that some sort of promo is coming, although we don’t know why Hyatt is so late releasing it based on the dates.
How to Check The Source Code For Your Offer
If you are interested in seeing if you have an offer the best way to check is Chrome on Desktop. Here is how to check the source code:
- Navigate to Hyatt.com and login to your account
- Navigate to the Account screen or click this link to go there
- Right click on the page and click “View Page Source” in the menu
- Then search for any of the code above to see if it is on your account
We still don’t know which code equates to which offer, but this is a fun little way to up the anticipation!
World of Hyatt 2023 Promotion Update – Bottom Line
Hyatt seems to be releasing some new early 2023 offers for members, but we don’t know all of the details yet. Some members have received the offers already while the vast majority have not heard from Hyatt. With the discovery of this code along with other data points, I am somewhat confident we will see something from Hyatt, but for now it is just a game of wait and see.

I got TARGTFLAT6, which I think is some kind of weak point bonus. Since I’m going to probably hit 60 nights merely with CC spending and leisure travel, I would love another Cat 1-4. I’ve been able to get ridiculous value from these, especially from international Cat 4 properties that I would never pay cash for.
I’m a Globalist with 65 nights in 2022. I got something totally different: TARGETM3X1.
The offer is already active as well, with registration open, and significantly worse than what I’ve seen elsewhere: Earn 3X points for every qualifying 2-night stay, up to 30K Bonus Points. Register by February 28 and then complete qualifying activity by March 19, 2023.
