Awesome New Hyatt Place/House Amex Offer – Up To 30% Off!

There is a new Amex offer that dropped today for Hyatt Place and Hyatt House.  It can net you a savings of up to 30% Off. It appears to be targeted since Shawn and PDX Deals Guy got it while I did not 😥.

Details of the Offer

Get a one-time $75 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $250+ on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels from 6/10/19 to 10/3/19. Book on hyatt.com. See terms.

Terms of the Offer

Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid only at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels in the U.S. and U.S. Territories. Reservations must be made directly with Hyatt via Hyatt.com, the World of Hyatt mobile app, a Hyatt hotel or a Hyatt call center. Offer not valid at any other Hyatt property, including Park Hyatt, Miraval, Exhale, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt, Andaz, Hyatt Centric, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Hyatt Zilara, Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Regency, and Hyatt Residence Club properties. Offer not valid for purchases of gift cards, of World of Hyatt rewards points, made via Hyatt Travel or Hyatt Vacations, or made through MGM. Offer only valid on room rate and room charges. Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member. The enrolled account must be active, in good standing and not in default to receive the statement credit. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 10/3/2019, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer.

Conclusion

I love Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels (Marathon Key, Disneyland & Royal Oak reviews).  They are usually affordable, consistent, and well maintained.  I wish I had received this offer because I know it would be put to good use.  Make sure to use it all in one single use since that is actually in the terms this time.  I have not been able to locate a Hyatt Place or House that sold gift cards in the past so I don’t think that is an option.

  1. Another one of those headlines that implies there is some way to get 30% off, which is true literally only if you have a single stay at precisely $250.
