Big IHG Award Sale for Select Properties Worldwide

IHG is once again running an unannounced award sale with big price drops at select properties around the world. We saw similar price drops just over a week ago, and it didn’t last long. So take a look at your favorite properties and start booking right away if you find any great deals.

We are seeing many Intercontinental hotels priced at 40,000 points per night, or just a bit more. For 40K for example you can book the Intercontinental London Park Lane, Intercontinental Paris – Le Grand. Intercontinental New York Times Square is priced even lower, at 31,250.

But this sale is not limited to Intercontinental hotels only. You can find greta deals across several IHG brands, with some properties priced as low as 50% off.

If you need more points, it can even make sense to purchase them to top of your account. You can even transfer from Chase, but that’s not usually a good use of your Ultimate Rewards. So it’s not a good idea to transfer large amounts of points to IHG.

Let us know in the comments if you’re able to find any great deals. This is also an opportunity to get a cheaper price on your current bookings, if a property is showing a discount.

  2. Thank you for this! I was waiting to earn enough points for our stay in London, but now I can book all 4 nights for 82,000 total.

      • Well I spoke too soon. I was trying to book on the app and it said “system unavailable”, so now I’m trying to do it on the computer and all of the sale prices are gone. I’m heated. Was that a 6 hour sale?

        • This is wild. The sale prices came back, and now I just booked those same 4 nights for 60,000 total at Holiday Inn Express Southwark.

  3. Newly renovated IC Rome dropped from 110k nightly down to 40k. It has not reopened yet but we just booked for summer 2023.

  4. Thanks for the heads up. I just re-booked a trip down in Sarasota next Feb for 52,000 points less than the booking I had.
