IHG PointBreaks Winter 2017 List
IHG Point Breaks is probably one of the best overall values in award redemptions, although the list isn’t quite as generous as it once was. You can get a reward night for just 5,000 IHG Rewards points at any of the hotels included in the list and it represents great value at many properties, domestic and abroad. IHG points can often be purchased for less that 0.6 cents each, which means that you can grab a stay for just $30/night. Right now you get a 100% bonus if you purchase points.
The list of participating hotels changes every few months and lately more and more of the properties are on the low end and/or in less convenient locations.
The list used to include some nice Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental Hotels, but that generally isn’t the case anymore. As you will see below, the IHG Point Breaks Spring 2017 list consists of mostly Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties. These can still be great values, especially you find any properties of interest.
Point Breaks are limited quantity and the few decent properties often sellout or fill up quickly with the promotion. Each member is limited to two bookings per property during the promotional period. The new list is up, but booking will be live this coming Monday. take a look now to see if any properties interest you, so you’re ready to book once it goes live.
