JetBlue Amazon Partnership

Amazon is one of the few merchants where it is difficult to get something back for your shopping. They do often partner with credit cards for category bonuses (like Discover this quarter) and once in awhile portals offer cashback in very specific categories, but for the most part the return is minimal. Thankfully now there is a new way to earn when shopping at Amazon.

The Offer

Now get your Amazon fix and 3 TrueBlue points for every dollar spent.

How It Works

JetBlue Amazon Partnership

In order to earn TrueBlue points for shopping on Amazon, you need to connect to Amazon via Fly-Fi if onboard or sign into your TB account and use your unique link. Once signed in using 1 of these 2 ways, you can earn 3 TrueBlue points for every $1 spent on Amazon on any eligible item. Points will be posted 60 days after item is shipped.

Analysis

Considering most people are currently earning nothing back on their Amazon shopping this is a great deal. I never really had a lot of TrueBlue points, however following their Virgin account match, I am flush with them. I see this as a good way to keep my JetBlue balance healthy, since I do a lot of shopping at Amazon.

There is no way to tell how long this will last, but it should be a good way to earn a lot of points for holiday shopping.  Remember that TrueBlue points are worth about 1.4 cents each meaning you are getting ~4.2% back. Not bad.
