Forget About Travel Shaming, Mask Shaming Is Here & It. Is. Ugly. My Recent Experience

I shared an ugly experience my family endured while dining out for the first time in months.  The mask debate has continued to spiral out of control, which is sad to see.

Wynn Las Vegas Canceled Free Nights

Wynn Las Vegas Cancels Reservations & Accuses Fraud Over Free Night Promotion

This was a massive overstep on Wynn’s part.  They have the right to cancel the reservations for sure. But to say people were gaming them when it was showing up in their own personal accounts was too much.  They specifically sent Shawn an apology after the post was shared a few places on Twitter.

Chase Sapphire Reserve Upgrade

My Chase Sapphire Reserve Upgrade Request Was Denied

The most popular post of the month was about my CSR upgrade denial.  I was trying to get the card for the 1.5 cent cashout opportunity.  I broke down why it made sense for me and why people should consider it. A few good things came out of this article.  It was shared in the comments that it IS possible to hold both Sapphire products and I was able to finally get my hands on a CSR after training the Chase rep.

That’s A Wrap

  1. I always appreciate your posts and viewpoints Mark.
OMG… so many trolls and self righteous people out there who feel they need to tell others how to live their lives. Whatever the topic, these people are so annoying, especially those who come up to you in public like what happened to your wife at the bathroom. Losers who want to make themselves feel better by putting down other people.

    • Thanks Jacob – it is crazy how much people will insert themselves into others daily lives and not know anything about them.

  2. No one should be forced to wear a mask. No one. We should declare mask free states or zones where people can live without wearing masks.

No one should have to help them when they start dying enmasse. Either take complete personal responsibility or follow the guidelines. Dont br a hybrid whiner like the guy on twitter who poses as a tough guy but whines in every tweet.

Also don’t be a defender of freedom of expression and censor every post that doesn’t call you a good boy.
