Las Vegas Construction Tour Spring 2021

Las Vegas Construction Tour Spring 2021

Las Vegas is always growing, evolving and changing, however this year has been a struggle. Thankfully Vegas has quite a few world class construction projects ongoing that will help it bounce back better than ever. Before we dive in don’t forget to subscribe to the Miles to Memories YouTube channel to see all of our Vegas reviews, guides and tours!

Las Vegas Construction Tour 2021

As I have done several times before, I criss-crossed the Las Vegas Valley to check out all of the upcoming new projects. In this video we’ll check out everything you need to know about what is coming to Las Vegas and I’ll hopefully provide a unique look at the Vegas construction and why you should be excited for what is coming.

Guide To Our Vegas Construction Tour?

Here is what you can find in the video. There are also a few surprises not listed so make sure to watch for yourself!

  • MSG Sphere Las Vegas – Despite the recent sale of the Venetian, this 17,000+ seat state of the art theater is moving forward with construction. Right now they are raising the roof pieces into place which is quite amazing to see.
  • Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall & Vegas Loop – This massive expansion adds over 600K square feet of new exhibit space along with the first stations of the new Tesla Vegas Loop. In this Vegas Loop tour we’ll check out two of the new system’s first stations and see how they work.
  • The Pass Casino – Downtown Henderson’s historic Eldorado Casino is being re-imagined into The Pass. Recently sold by Boyd gaming this old casino is getting ready to open once again with a completely new name and look!
  • Henderson Events Center – Home to the Henderson Silver Knights beginning in 2022, this 6,000 seat arena replace the Henderson Pavilion amphitheater which sat on the same spot. It will anchor a shopping/dining district in Green Valley Ranch.
  • Virgin Hotels Las Vegas – The old Hard Rock Hotel is getting ready to re-open with a new entrance, theme and name. This Virgin Hotels Las Vegas tour will show you the frontage and new entryway just days before opening. Who doesn’t want to ride the Virgin party bus?
  • Sahara Restaurant Row – As part of their $150 million in renovations Sahara is converting their Strip frontage into four new eateries. This is probably one of the most underrated casinos on the Strip and is a place you’ll want to check out on your next trip.
  • The Drew (Old Fontainebleau) – Abandoned for over a decade this project was recently bought by Koch Industries. One of the original developers is involved as well. What will happen?
  • Resorts World Las Vegas Construction Tour – World class food and entertainment along with 3,500 rooms spread across 3 Hilton brands is coming to the Strip in just a couple of months. This place is going to make splashes and it is getting closer to completion.

Las Vegas Construction Tour – Bottom Line

While I continue to be excited about the progress of the MSG Sphere, I would lie if I didn’t say how excited I was to try this new Tesla loop system. The potential it has for Vegas is huge, but it is still unproven. Of course I am also super excited about Resorts World as the construction finished and can’t wait to jump inside Virgin Hotels very soon. Which Las Vegas construction project are you most looking forward to?
