M Life Rewards Increased Credit Card Offer, 75% Bigger Bonus (Targeted)

I received an email today for a M Life Rewards increased credit card offer.  This is a card we have reviewed in the past and is actually pretty popular among M Life Rewards loyalists.  I will go over the offer, why it is better than the normal offer and how you can actually do better!

M Life Rewards Increased Credit Card Offer Details

The public offer for the M Life Rewards credit card is 10,000 points after spending $1,000 within 3 months.  Points are worth 1 cent a piece when redeemed for hotels or food etc. They hit your M Life Rewards player account and you can use them as you like.

The offer I received via email was for the following:
  • Earn 7,500 points upon approval
  • Earn 10,000 points after spending $1,000 within the first 3 billing cycles.
  • Offer ends September 20, 2020

That is an increase of 75% on the offer and pretty much like getting $175, assuming you frequent M Life properties.

Here is the link if you want to see if your account is targeted.

M Life Rewards Credit Card Details

Shawn did a full review a while back and I encourage you to check it out if you want a more detailed breakdown.

The card’s earning structure is as follows:
  • 3X points and tier credits per $1 spent at MLife Rewards destinations worldwide.
  • 2X points and tier credits per $1 spent on gas station and supermarket purchases.
  • 1X points and tier credits per $1 spent everwhere else.
Here are the benefits you get as an Mlife Rewards Mastercard cardholder:
  • Automatic Upgrade to Pearl Level Status (Free parking, buffet line pass, 10% bonus on points and express comps.)
  • Priority Hotel Check-in at M life Resorts
  • No Annual Fee
  • No Foreign Transaction Fees

How You Can Do Better

Anyone that is considering this card is probably attracted to M Life Pearl Status more than anything.  And even more so in the free parking that comes with that status. If you park a car in Vegas a few times a year those fees can add up, a ton!

But what if I told you that you could get that benefit and get a lot more value out of the welcome offer, more than even the increased $175 offer.  If you sign up for the World of Hyatt credit card you get Hyatt Discoverist status that can be matched to M Life Pearl status.  The card comes with a 50,000 point welcome offer after $3,000 in spend within 3 months.  The points are worth $750+ when redeemed on Hyatt stays.  The card does come with a $95 annual fee but the difference in welcome offer covers many years of that fee.  It also has a more rewarding earning structure, free night after $15,000 in spend each cardmember year and more.  Here is our full review of the card.

You can even use World of Hyatt points to stay at MGM properties.  Although it is best suited for busy weekends when cash prices are high.

Final Thoughts

While increased offers are always welcome, especially 75% more.  I would give the M Life Rewards increased credit card offer a pass.  That is mainly because you can do a ton better by going the World of Hyatt credit card route.
