Upgrade Offer for Amex Marriott Bevy Card, Get 100K Bonus
American Express recently launched the new Marriott Bonvoy Bevy™ American Express® Card. The card has a $250 annual fee and comes with a 125,000 signup bonus. The card is not very exciting, but Benjy already got it and you can read here why.
But if you don’t want to apply for a new card, there also an upgrade offer going around that can earn you 100,000 points. The offer is targeted and was sent out by email to select Amex Marriott ($95 annual fee) cardholders.
Those targeted can earn 100,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points when they upgrade and spend $4,000 in purchases on the card within the first 6 months.
Amex Marriott Bevy’s annual fee is $155 more than the $95 fee Amex Marriott card that is no longer available. And you don’t get much more in terms of perks and benefits with the new card.
Card Highlights
- 6X Marriott Bonvoy Points on purchases at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy
- 4X Marriott Bonvoy Points on up to $15,000 in combined purchases per year at restaurants worldwide and at U.S. supermarkets
- 2X Marriott Bonvoy Points on all other eligible purchases
- 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy Bonus Points with each qualifying stay
- Complimentary Gold Elite status
- A Free Night Award (redemption level at or under 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points) after making $15,000 in purchases per year. Certain hotels have resort fees.
- 15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year toward higher Elite status
Conclusion
This is a good upgrade bonus, and comparable to the current signup bonus for the Marriott Bevy card. But by upgrading you’re paying a higher annual fee and don’t get much more in terms of benefits besides the Free Night Award which is 50K instead of 35K.
Let us know if you received this offer and if you plan on upgrading!

The current card gives you one night at 35,000 with the annual fee, the new card seems to drop that and you need to spend $15,000 to get a 50,000 cert. That alone makes this a stupid “upgrade”
