Rakuten American Express Card $200 Bonus: Final Thoughts

It was a few years ago when Rakuten ended its credit card program with Synchrony. It now has a new credit card and this time it runs on the American Express network, powered by  Imprint and issued by First Electronic Bank.

The card has good earning rates for Rakuten purchases, giving you an extra 4% cash back, but it is limited to $7,000 in purchases every year.

If you were thinking of applying, the bonus is now $200, double the previous best. But the spending requirement has also doubled to $2,000.
