American Express is targeting some Hilton cardholders with bonus points for everyday spend. These offers are showing up down in the Amex Offers section of your login. These Amex Offers for bonus Hilton points can create some massive returns. Let’s dive in! Update 4/23/25: These offers are back and better than ever.

Here are the details for these Amex Offers giving out tons of bonus Hilton points:

• Eligible American Express cards earn additional Hilton Honors Bonus Points by using your enrolled eligible Card for one or more qualifying purchases.
• Here are some of the best offers that you might find:
  • Spend $15,500+, Earn 45,500 Bonus Points. Up to 3 times.
  • Spend $5,500+, Earn 15,500 Bonus Points. Up to 3 times.
  • Spend $4,500+, Earn 8,500 Bonus Points. Up to 3 times.
• Once you add the offer to your eligible Card, you will have 90 days to spend the requirement amount.

The two larger offers give you close to an extra 3x per dollar on that spend. The lower tier offer drops the earn rate below an extra 2x on the spend. That is if you finish the required spend to the dollar perfectly as well.

Pay attention to the 90 day clock starting at activation. These offers can go away at any point, so may be best to grab it if you see it. If the only way you could complete the spend is to kick the can down the road a bit, then you may want to hold off and circle back for activation.

Breaking Down The Numbers

The Amex Offers for bonus Hilton points are pretty interesting. That is especially true if you had planned on spending towards a $15K free night cert on your Surpass card already. The same could be said for the $30K free night cert on your Aspire card as well.

Pairing these offers with the card’s normal earning rates PLUS a free night certificate is a points bonanza. Stacking all three would net you around 15x per dollar on that spend. Insane! That is assuming a 6x earning on bonus spend with your Surpass card, 3x earning from these Amex Offers and another 6x (or better) when redeeming the free night certificate earned (90k plus hotel stay).

If you have already earned the free night certificate, or spend beyond the $15K needed, then the rates drop down to 9x for that same spend. Still really good, but not as exciting to chase as the potential option above.

Hilton Spending Amex Offers

The offers give you a bigger payday this time around compared to similar offers in the past. But, the offers were probably more approachable last time around with lower spend requirements. They also offered a better return in terms of earning per dollar. I still think these versions are worth pursuing if you had planned on spending on your cards anyway.
