The offer that is currently publicized by Chase and Marriott gets you 100,000 Bonvoy points after spending $3,000 in three months.
This offer gives you less points, only 75,000. But you also gets a $300 Marriott gift card. I think most people will value the gift card more than 25,000 points, especially if taken at face value.

So much much less then face value…
You can’t BOOK the reservation, but as long as it’s not pre-paid you can PAY with it at check-out. It’s only less than face value if you normally book pre-paid and have to pay a higher rate to get the reservation you want. It’s a good warning, but lots of us don’t like to use prepaid rates.
