Marriott Bonvoy Promotion
Marriott has launched a new promotion today for all Bonvoy members. You can earn extra points for every night, plus bonus Elite Night Credits.
This promotion puts Silver Elite status in reach after staying five nights and Platinum Elite status in reach after staying 25 nights during the promotional earning period. It gets better if you have any Marriott credit cards. Let’s see the details
The Offer
Registered Marriott Bonvoy members can earn 1,000 bonus points and one bonus Elite Night Credit for each eligible paid night stayed during the promotion earning period from February 7 to April 23, 2023. Registration is open today until April 9, 2023.
There is no limit to the number of bonus points or bonus Elite Night Credits that can be earned during the promotion earning period. Once members are registered for the promotion, they can start earning bonuses from the first night of their stay and every eligible night through April 23, 2023.
Here are the important details:
- Members must register before April 9, 2023.
- The promotion earning period runs from February 7, 2023, to April 23, 2023.
- Stays completed prior to registration are not eligible to earn bonus points or bonus Elite Night Credits with this promotion.
- With this promotion, members can earn unlimited bonus points and bonus Elite Night Credits during the 75-night earning period, up to 75,000 bonus points and 75 bonus Elite Night Credits.
- Members must book stays directly with Marriott on Marriott.com, Marriott Bonvoy Mobile app or through a reservations center. Rates available through most third-party online retailers and select travel agency rates do not qualify for this promotion.
- Award redemption stay nights including Cash + Points Awards, Free Night Awards, or a points redemption are not eligible for the promotion.
The following brands are not participating in the promotion: Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott Executive Apartments®, and owner-occupied weeks at Marriott Vacation Club®, Marriott Grand Residence Club®, Sheraton Vacation Club®, Westin Vacation Club®, The Ritz-Carlton Club®, St. Regis Residence Club® and Luxury Collection Residence Club.

Conclusion
You can already get 40 Elite Night Credits with the Marriott Brilliant card and a business card. Some people got lucky and received 55 Elite Night Credits this year.
This promotion makes it easier to reach Platinum Elite (50 nights per year) or Titanium Elite (75 nights per year). You also get bonus points. So if you can find cheap stays, or if you plan to stay at Marriott properties during the promotion period, you should definitely register now.

Every time I look for Marriott nights on points lately it seems they want 90-180k points where Hilton wants 50k or more and Hyatt wants 12-30k. I’m done chasing Marriott’s promos & points.

try to do it again noway. I think i got the same error message and then it worked for me on the 2nd or 3rd try
Hellooo. Here’s how this went for me. Clicked the link, got taken to a page saying I wasn’t eligible. Realized I wasn’t logged into my Marriott account, so logged in. Clicked the link again, and got taken to the promotion, with a button to register. Clicked that, and got an error message saying: “Please correct the following and try again. Unfortunately, we cannot register you for this promotion, but you can call Guest Services and we would be happy to answer any questions you have.” So I called Guest Services, asked the agent if I could be registered, and… he did it without any issues. Woot!
I wasn’t going to try too hard for Marriott status this year, but this will make it much easier to get there. And thanks for posting this!

Any idea what happens with a stay checking on February 5 and out on February 8?
I would guess that only 1 night will count, since promotion period starts February 7.

Sam – it failed on me twice as well. I logged in and went under the promotions tab in my marriott account and it worked there
Gave me an error when I clicked at first, but then worked after logging in, and clicking the link again.
Thanks for the heads up. These promos are good to get to at least platinum if you start with 40 credit card nights. There is also an amex offer out on some cards that can get you up to $50 back with a marriott stay.
