BofA Cash Rewards Increases Category Limit to $2500 & Adds Wholesale Clubs [Up to 3.5% at Costco, BJ’s, Sam’s]

Probably not a huge deal to most, but those with at least $100K in assets at Bank of America or Merrill Lynch will get 3.5% back per quarter with their 75% bonus. That makes this a valuable no annual fee credit card to have in you are in that situation!

Save up to 40% on Your Next Silvercar Rental

40% off for new customers and 30% off for existing customers. There have been some reports of locations closing recently so I hope Silvercar is doing alright. PDX Deals Guy recently reviewed his Silvercar experiences, but I have yet to rent one. I’m hoping that changes soon.

Turnover Tuesdays – A Year of Reselling

A number of great lessons learned from a year of reselling as a business. Most of these lessons almost need to be learned the hard way and some of them I am learning now or have recently learned.

Great Deals

  • The Giving Assistant shopping portal is temporarily paying 2% back for eBay. That is definitely better than the next best option iConsumer at 1.3%. You can get $5 by signing up with someone’s referral link and making one purchase. Here is my Giving Assistant referral link. (I get $5 if you sign-up and purchase too.)
  • Speaking of eBay, they have a number of gift cards on sale today. Definitely not the best list ever, but perhaps worth a look for some with brands like Cabela’s, Fuddruckers and Hotels.com. Don’t forget to use a portal like Giving Assistant to save even more.
  • In case you missed it this morning, Chase & United are targeting people with a 75K + $50 offer on the MileagePlus Explorer card. Full details here.
