Miles to Memories YouTube
I wanted to take a quick second to celebrate a couple of milestones we recently passed here at Miles to Memories over the last few weeks. They are something we have been working on for a year and a half now and wanted to thank you all for helping us reach them.
In the last month or so the Miles to Memories YouTube channel, MtM Vegas, has surpassed the 25,000 subscribers mark and crossed the 5,000,000 views threshold. These are two pretty big bench marks we have been working towards since Shawn started working on the channel shortly after the beginning of the pandemic.

This video kicked it all off on June 5th, 2020. While we were all trapped for months with lockdowns, border closures and trip cancellation emails piling up we tried to look for any escape we could. Shawn figured videoing Vegas in a unique state would be as good of an option as anything. Vegas was one of the first major cities to open back up in a major way and everyone was looking for a little inspiration too. Plus, I think everyone was missing their Vegas fix!
Shuttered Vegas Casino Tour 2021 – The Many Closed Casinos of Las Vegas – When Will They Re-open?
This is the most popular video to date coming up on amazing 350,000 views. It chronicled all of the Vegas casinos still closed months after the reopening. Surprisingly enough, some of them are still closed to this day, even as Vegas is breaking all time gaming records month after month.
MtM Vegas Launches
While Shawn was working on the tours, reviews and just showing people that longed for their Vegas trips a piece of his hometown, we decided to launch MtM Vegas too. That is our weekly, and sometimes bi-weekly, Vegas news / info show. It is also released in podcast form if you prefer that to video. We cover all of the latest news, interesting stories and all of our Vegas favorites along the way. Here is our most popular MtM Vegas show to date with over 50,000 views.
