Virgin Red and Synchrony have launched a new welcome bonus of 60,000 points on the Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard®. However, you can find a much better offer if start the process of booking a flight at Virgin Atlantic. Let’s see the details.
The Offer
- New cardholders can earn 60,000 Virgin Points plus a $200 statement credit after spending $4,000 in the first 90 days.
- Earn 2,500 Virgin Points when you add an additional user (up to four users, max 10,000 extra points).
- Offer ends December 12, 2025.
- Annual Fee: $99

There’s no direct link for this offer, but you can find it through a dummy booking. Just go through the steps of booking a flight with Virgin Atlantic and it will show when you get to the page for passenger information.
Card Details and Benefits
The card does not have a very exciting earning structure. You get:
- 3X Virgin Points on purchases with Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels and Virgin Voyages.
- 2X Virgin Points on dining, grocery stores, select streaming services and EV charging.
- 1X Virgin Points on all other purchases.
The list of benefits includes:
- 5,000 Virgin Points upon renewal of your card
- Earn 25 Flying Club Tier Points for each $2,500 in eligible purchases (maximum 50 Tier Points per month).
- Third night free after booking two nights at a participating Virgin Hotel once a year.
- Spend $15,000 or $30,000 in a cardholder year to choose one or two of the following perks:
- Virgin Atlantic: Flying Club reward voucher for a companion seat or cabin upgrade
- Virgin Hotels: One free night stay or hotel suite upgrade
- Virgin Voyages: Up to $300 Bar Tab credit or Blue Extras perks package
Conclusion
The best ever bonus we have seen for this card was 75,000 Virgin Points. This is possibly even better for some people, depending on your valuation of Virgin Points. You get 60,000 points plus a $200 credit.
