Old TV/Monitor Settlement Rebate

Old TV/Monitor Settlement Rebate

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has agreed to a $33 million involving Cathode Ray Tubes (“CRTs”), a display device that was the main component in TVs and computer monitors. The lawsuit claims that Mitsubishi Electric conspired with other CRT manufacturers to fix the prices of CRTs, causing consumers to pay more for CRTs and products containing CRTs, such as TVs and computer monitors.

These types of settlements have been reached with multiple companies in the past, such as LG, Philips, Panasonic, Hitachi, Toshiba, Samsung, and more. Even if you have filed a claim for CRTs in the past, you are probably eligible to file once again for this latest settlement. You just need to do so before June 13, 2023.
