Rio was sold a few years ago with the promise of a redevelopment into a Hyatt. Their new owners have now raised $850 million in capital, but the experience at Rio is worse than ever. Interestingly the A’s ballpark rumor has resurfaced. Will this make a good ballpark site and would the hotel/casino remain?

In other news a Nevada legislator has proposed bringing a lottery to Nevada. There are many hurdles against it, but will a lottery finally make it to Las Vegas? In other #news we check on Tilmann Fertitta’s Wynn investment, Twitch Con is coming to Vegas, betting on who will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show and we tour the newest Vegas casino.
