Citi Hilton Cards Pulled

Recently Hilton announced that American Express will be the sole provider of their co-branded cards come 2018. Shortly after that announcement all public Citi Hilton card links were pulled. We found some zombie links and shared them with you last week. Hopefully you were able to apply, because it now may be too late.

According to Doctor of Credit, all known Citi Hilton card links are dead. It is always sad to see options go away, but maybe American Express will step up their game now that they have the exclusive partnership.

Please let us know if you are able to find any working links! RIP Citi Hilton Cards and thank you for all of those free nights at the Grand Wailea on Maui over the years. I’ll miss you.

  1. So what’s everyone going to do? I’m thinking of asking for a product change to the ThankYou Premier card perhaps. Thoughts?

    • At some point, Citi (if they don’t sell the portfolio) will convert the card to something like that (either no-AF TYP card or Doublecash).

  2. Any idea what will happen to existing Citi/Hilton cards? In particular the Reserve card which gives Hilton Honors Gold Status to cardholders along with a free annual night? My Citi/Hilton Reserve card has expiration date of 7/19.

  3. @Jay, that stinks. I applied for both wife and I on 6/7. She was instantly approved, I was not. I’m still waiting for word. I guess it doesn’t bode well for my chances.

  4. Even worse, I applied on 6/6/17 and was just told that my application had been stopped because the card is no longer available. My wife applied on the same day and it went through.

    • My wife just had pretty much the same thing- applied Tuesday, called Wednesday to check on pending status, and she was told denied because card isn’t available. I guess there’s nothing we can do about it
