Great Deals on Shopping & Airfare
I just came across a couple of great deals that I felt it was worth mentioning. Let’s take a look.
Shop at Home 3X Cashback
Shop at Home is offering 3X cashback at a number of merchants today only in celebration Friday the 13th. While most of the merchants are duds, some are actually pretty good.
Sample List of Merchants
- Walmart – 3%
- Macy’s – 18%
- Office Depot – 6%
- Groupon – 18% on most items
- 1-800-Flowers – 36%
You can find the full list here.
Delta $317 Roundtrip to Europe
Delta seems to be attacking United with some amazing fares from the U.S. to Europe. Among the best deals are from Washington DC and San Francisco. There are other deals for a bit more money from other United hubs like Denver, Houston and Cleveland.
Among the best deals is DCA-DUB for $317 roundtrip and SFO-DUB for $377 roundtrip. You can also score very good fares to Istanbul and Moscow among other cities. Before searching I highly recommend checking out the Flight Deal where you can see many more city/fare combinations.
Happy saving!

Shawn – Have you ever used shopathome.com (SAH) for a cash back portal? If so, what were your results? Does SAH provide cash back on gift card purchases and merch purchases made with GCs?
Yes I have used Shop at Home and had good success with them. In general cash back takes a bit longer to track, but I haven’t had any issues. As for gift cards, it really depends on the merchant. I would take a look at Frequent Miler laboratories to check if there are any data points for the merchant you are interested in. http://frequentmiler.boardingarea.com/laboratory/
I’m glad you mentioned how long it takes to track. I just used them for the first time for two big ebay purchases on 5/9 and 5/10, and am a bit worried that they haven’t tracked yet. I really only use TCB, and they always track either same day or next day. Guess i’m a bit spoiled, hopefully my purchases will track soon. I also noticed that their site says to allow one week for tracking before submitting a missing cash back claim, so i guess it’s normal to take longer.
