Southwest Rapid Rewards has a promotion that could easily earn you 6,000 points. The promotion is targeted, but well worth checking. Let’s look at the details.
The Offer
Earn up to 6,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points after you opt in to receive the Rapid Rewards® Email Update before September 30, 2018.
- Register for this offer and remain opted in to receive the Rapid Rewards Email Updates for three consecutive months to earn 3,000 bonus points.
- If you remain opted in for an additional three months, you will receive 3,000 more bonus points.
Key Terms
- This offer is only valid for the Rapid Rewards® account that received this mailer and is not transferrable.
- 3,000 bonus points will post directly to your Rapid Rewards Account up to eight weeks after the 3-month subscription and the 6 month subscription periods.
- To be eligible for bonus points, member must maintain Rapid Rewards Credit Cardmember status and must open a minimum of one Rapid Rewards Email Update every 60 days All Rapid Rewards rules and regulations apply.
Conclusion
The promotion is targeted, so not everyone will qualify. On top of that you need to be a Rapid Rewards Credit Cardmember. You should be able to find out if you’r eligible after completing the required steps. It should give you an error if you’re not one of the lucky customers.

I received the mailer and opted in 9/29. I have the email confirmation, but have not received the points. I have been in contact with customer service and they told me they didn’t have me signed up for this. I am currently waiting for them to get back to me by weeks end with an answer on what the issue is

I haven’t seen anything yet either but I think it is supposed to take several months before we see points. I kept the flyer just in case there are issues.
