See Southwest Prices on Google Flights with Wonderlog
Wanderlog, a free trip planner app for travelers, has created a Chrome extension that will make your flight searches much easier.
When looking for flights, usually the first stop is at Google Flights. While this is a great search engine for travelers, it has some shortcomings. Not all airlines are listed, with Southwest being one of the major absentees for US customers.
Southwest has long prevented third-party sites and apps from selling its fares. So you won’t see Southwest on Google Flights, Priceline or other OTAs. However, the Wanderlog extension is changing that, and it’s quite easy to use.
You just add the free plugin to your Google Chrome browser, do a Google Flights search, wait a few seconds after fares on other airlines have popped up, and then Wanderlog will populate the prices for Southwest flights. Where you currently see “price unavailable”, you’ll see fare prices from Southwest.
You will no longer need to make separate searches at Google Flights and then Southwest. But while this new tool is incredibly useful, it’s not clear how long it will last. Southwest will not like it, and Thrifty Traveler who first reported the new, says that Wanderlog doesn’t have any agreement or permission from Southwest.
The the Wanderlog team told Thrifty Traveler they are “cautiously optimistic that Southwest will be OK with this tool … and if they’re not, the way the extension works will leave Southwest with little recourse to shut it down”.
The Wanderlog extension also has another feature that could be useful. It will help you see all unexpected Airbnb fees, but showing the total prices on Airbnb’s maps.

Southwest is still showing as “price unavailable” even with extension on Google Chrome. I tried Los Angeles to Houston and its not giving me the Southwest prices….
I’m getting the same…anyone else been able to get it to work?
