Analysis
This is a great deal if you have the flexibility to travel on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. On longer routes with higher fares, the savings can be significant. For example, look at this fare from Las Vegas to Fort Lauderdale.
In this case a $119 flight costs only $37! You don’t often see $37 cross country fares. Keep in mind flying Spirit is a bit different than other airlines. Their pitch is tight and you pay for luggage and a lot of other stuff. If you are aware of their fees and navigate them, then this could be a fantastic deal. In some cases buying a cheap flight with this deal plus a Big Front Seat will be cheaper than a standard economy ticket on other airlines. In other words this will be a great deal for some, but not for everyone.
