TAP Air Portugal Launches Its First U.S. Credit Card

Cardless and TAP Air Portugal officially launched today the new TAP Miles&Go American Express Card from Cardless. The card comes with a 60,000 miles signup bonus and $79 annual fee. It earns 3x miles on all TAP airline purchases, provides Status Miles towards Star Alliance status, preferred boarding for TAP flights, and more. Let’s see the details.

Signup Bonus

New cardholders can earn up to 40,000 bonus miles after spending $2,500 in the first 90 days after being approved for the card. And until November 30, 2023, TAP and Cardless are adding an extra 20,000 bonus miles—for a total of 60,000 bonus miles once a cardholder spends $2,500 in their first 90 days. If you joined the waitlist last month, then you also get an extra an extra 5,000 TAP Miles&Go Miles and 5,000 TAP Miles&Go Status Miles.

  • Earn 3x miles on flights & all other purchases from TAP Air Portugal
  • Earn 2x miles on hotels, car rentals & rideshare
  • Earn 1x mile on all other purchases.
  • Get two (2) annual passes to the TAP Premium Lounge at Lisbon Airport.
  • Check an extra bag on your TAP Air Portugal flights, twice per year.
  • Faster boarding for you and your travel companions on flights operated by TAP.
  • For every 5 miles earned with your card, earn 1 Status Mile, up to 10k per Annual Qualification period.
  • No foreign transaction fees.
  • $79 annual fee (not waived).
