Theme Parks Offer Free Admission for Military Members and Veterans
Theme parks around the country usually have promotions and discounts for military families, and even free entry during Fourth of July or Memorial Day. But now many theme parks are offering free admission for Military Appreciation Month. This is a great opportunity for military members and their families to enjoy themselves without breaking the bank.
SeaWorld parks in Orlando, San Antonio, and San Diego are giving away complimentary one-day admission to military veterans and their families April 25 through May 15. Active-duty military and their guests continue to enjoy one-day complimentary admission all year long. The offers are part of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment’s Waves of Honor program, a longstanding partnership salutes active-duty military members, veterans, and their families by offering special pricing and promotions throughout the year.
A similar offer is available at Busch Gardens, with free one-day admission to its parks from April 25 – May 15 for U.S. military veterans and up to three guests. Active-duty military and their guests continue to enjoy one-day complimentary admission all year long.
Other theme parks are also offering free admission for Military Appreciation Month. Veterans and active-duty members of the military can get free access to Magic Springs, Sun Splash Family Waterpark, Colonial Williamsburg, Kings Island, Gilroy Gardens, LEGOLAND Discovery Centers and Cedar Point.

Disney also has discounts for the military, offering Military Salute Tickets. A 5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket starts at $349. The most expensive option with the Park Hopper Plus Option and Disney Genie+ service, costs $454.
