Uber Amex Offer Expiring This Weekend
A couple of months ago American Express came out with an Amex Offer for $10 off a $10 or more purchase with Uber. I was lucky enough to get the offer on seven cards.
This weekend my family and I are in San Francisco following a few days spent at my dad’s house for Christmas. Several times we have been able to use Uber in lieu of public transport to keep to a tight schedule.
I normally use public transport because it is cheaper and I generally like it, however Uber is growing on me. Most of our rides this weekend have cost between $10-$15, meaning the Amex Offers came in handy.
The main reason for this post is to remind everyone that the Uber Amex Offer expires on December 31, 2014. If you don’t have any use for Uber before that date, you can purchase $25 gift certificates. After the $10 credit, you are basically getting a 40% discount.
If you have yet to sign up for Uber, you can do so through my referral link and get $20 off of your first ride. You can also read about my Uber experiences this year as well.

I would just freak out if I won this one. I need a smile Christmas wasn’t all that great this year.
I’ve used Uber a few times in Downtown LA with positive results each time. I’m usually somebody who likes to have a rental when I’m traveling, but it’s nice to know there is another option other than taxi’s when public transportation isn’t available.
