Uber Explore

Uber Explore Let’s You Book Dinner Reservations, Live Events and More

Uber has recently launched a new travel related product called Uber Explore. You can already find this option in the Uber app if you are in one of the select cities where it is currently available. Uber Explore allows customers to browse and book experiences such as dinner reservations, live events, and other activities.

When opening the Explore tab in the Uber app, riders will see places recommended to them based on categories including food & drink, art & culture, nightlife, music & shows, and more. Plus you can see reviews, photos, and directions.

Some of the features of Uber Explore include:

  • One click rides: The “ride there now” functionality allows customers to tap a button and easily book a ride with their pre-populated destination.
  • Personalization: Suggestions for experiences based on your past use of the Uber and Uber Eats apps.
  • Uber Explore Offers: For some the top restaurants & bars you’ll get 15% off your rides up to $10 for now. The deals will always be changing based on what’s popular in your area.
  • Seamless purchases: Purchase tickets to events and experiences using your Uber Wallet & Payment profile.

Availability

Uber Explore is live in 14 U.S. cities across the U.S. (Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Memphis, Minneapolis – St. Paul, New Orleans, New Jersey, Upstate New York, Orlando, San Antonio, San Francisco, Seattle) and one international city (Mexico City).

Explore will be available in more cities in the coming weeks and months, along with more event opportunities and experiences offerings. So keep an eye out and check your Uber app.
