Ultimate Rewards to Amtrak Still Available

Yesterday I posted my transfer strategy for Ultimate Rewards to Amtrak. While the transfers were supposed to officially stop as of last night, I can report that as of right now you can still transfer Ultimate Rewards to Amtrak Guest Rewards.

Despite the official end date being announced as December 7, PDX Deals Guy was told by Amtrak that transfers would be allowed through today. Perhaps they built in this extra time or they could be planning to shut off transfers at any time. Who knows, but I wouldn’t wait if you want to make a transfer.

After being tipped off that the transfer option was still on the Chase site, I decided to do a test and transfer over 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points. As you can see below, the transfer was successful. If you have been debating whether to transfer or if you thought that you had missed the deadline, there is still time!
