United Club Pass Giveaway
This weekend I am holding a United Club pass giveaway! The one-time use pass is good through 11/30/2014 and can be used no matter which airline you are flying on. (I am giving away 1 pass.)
United Clubs offer free well drinks and limited beer selections with higher-end offerings available for an additional charge. Additionally they usually have a decent selection of snacks and you will also get free Wi-Fi.
While United Clubs don’t compare to international business class lounges, they certainly are better then sitting in the terminal! Here is my review from a United Club in San Francisco.
The Contest
The contest is simple. To enter, use Rafflecopter & simply leave a comment on this post telling me what you like most about airport lounges. For a bonus entry, follow me on Twitter! The contest ends on 10/13/14 at 12:00AM PDT.
I will send the pass via U.S. mail. It may take up to 1-2 weeks to reach you depending on where you are in the country. The winner will be chosen randomly by Rafflecopter. Eligibility is solely determined by me and is at my sole discretion.

Great site.
The agents that can work on rebookings when IRROPS strike
Don’t standstill.
AN airport lounge is a great escape when bad weather bring big airport delays.
It’s all about the solitude!
The availability of seating and the ability to charge my electronics!
I like the free WiFi and the ability to charge my phone and iPad while having a beer.
I like the free drinks! I am not getting anything on the plane for free!
A place to charge my phone as well as grad a few drinks before heading on
I love having a comfy seat, wifi, access to an outlet, and some nice food to snack on
The thing I like most about airport lounges are the agents that can assist with IRROPS (assuming of course it’s an airline operated lounge and not something like an AMEX lounge or contracted-out lounge). When things go sideways, it’s great to walk into a club and get personalized rebooking help, without having to wait on a line of 100+ people in the concourse.
Never been to one actually but I imagine its quiet and comfy

Just getting away from the craziness is worth it to me. There is so much stress in the regular terminal waiting areas!
I enjoy the peace, quiet and ability to charge electronic devices.
I love airport lounge since it provide a place to tlax and wind up before long flight. Various beverages and snacks are good to refresh myself too.
I like that (most of the time) they are quiet. Particularly, ones that are not US-based.
I love having a quiet oasis away from all the noise.
New reader, and I’m enjoying your work. If I win, I’ll be giving the pass to my grandmother for her flight next month.
It’s about quiet (and power chargers 🙂 ). I appreciate that as opposed to the cattle like pre-boarding rituals of waiting at the gate.
I’ve only been lucky enough to get into an airport lounge once (thanks mom!) but I loved how there were no screaming kids and free snacks! Definitely makes dealing with the airport a little less stressful.
