Use Amazon Gift Cards for Prime Membership and Video Subscriptions
When making purchases on Amazon, it’s usually a good idea to load up on Amazon gift cards if you can get them at a discount, or by purchasing them at stores where you can earn 5X in credit card rewards. That can be an office supply store or a supermarket for example. But one issue has been that Amazon limits what you can buy with your gift card balance.
Now there’s good news for those that prefer to use Amazon gift cards. Amazon has made a positive change and will let you use your gift card balance to pay for your Amazon Prime membership and for Amazon Video subscriptions.
To enable this setting for your Amazon Prime membership, just go here and click “Update your payment method.”
Then scroll down to the end of the list of cards that you have in your account and check the box for “Use your gift card balance when available.”
For you video subscriptions you can change it here.
Conclusion
A positive change from Amazon, which lets you net some extra savings when renewing your Amazon Prime subscription or paying for video services. The process is quick and easy to set up, so just do it now before you forget.

amazon prime sucks! That’s why people go to netflix because its simple! Put in your code from gift card and you start watching! Not like this prime video crap! There is nothing prime about it!
