Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic have teamed up to offer 50% discount in points when you book a Virgin Atlantic reward seat. But you’ll have to act fast – this offer is only available from March 14th to March 20th, with travel dates spanning from March 14th to June 30th, 2024.

This means that you can fly between the US and UK for a fraction of the usual points cost. And yes, this offer applies to Economy, Premium, and Upper Class reward seat bookings, as well as upgrades, during the promotional period.

Here are some examples of the savings you can expect:

• New York to London Heathrow: Now just 10,000 Virgin Points
• Las Vegas to London Heathrow: Reduced to 15,000 Virgin Points
• Los Angeles to London Heathrow: Also slashed to 15,000 Virgin Points

But there’s a catch. With reward seats you’re on the hook for taxes, fees, and carrier-imposed surcharges. And those can be substantial depending on your destination, the season, and your chosen cabin class.
