Horseshoe continues with its changeover from Bally’s and this week we saw some not so nice changes along with promises of a new marquee. The giant 180 foot tall sign will feature a giant screen and ads right on the Strip. A new Asian restaurant will open in March as well.

In other news, 1987 Vegas was a different era and one that I fondly remember. It was time right before the building boom of the 1990’s and when Vegas was in transition from the mob era to corporate ownership. We take a look at some of the more interesting parts of 1987, following a vlog that was recently posted. We also discuss new art at Resorts World and Bellagio, AI’s interpretation of a Las Vegan and why Stations is teasing their long defunct Viva project.
