Wells Fargo Business Checking Account Bonus

Wells Fargo Business Checking Account Bonus

Wells Fargo has a new promotion, offering up to $825 in cash for opening a new Business Checking account. The offer is available online and nationwide. It also doesn’t require a direct deposit, which makes things easier. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

There are two separate bonuses, with similar requirements. The only difference is the amount of money you need to deposit and the balance you need to keep for just over a month.

Here’ how it works:

  • Open a new Initiate Business Checking account by June 30, 2025.
  • Make a deposit to your new business checking account by day 30 and maintain that minimum daily collected balance through day 60 after account opening.
  • Wells Fargo will deposit the bonus into your new business checking account within 30 days after you have met all offer requirements.

Key Terms

  • This offer is for new business checking customers only.
  • A business entity is not eligible for this offer if the business entity is a current owner of a Wells Fargo business checking account or has closed a Wells Fargo business checking account in the past 90 days.
  • A business entity is not eligible for this offer if the business entity has received a bonus for opening a Wells Fargo business checking account within the past 12 months.

Conclusion

This is a simple bonus. You need to open a new account and then make the required deposit just before day 30. You then need to keep the required balance through day 60 in order to get the bonus.

The $400 bonus requires a deposit and balance of $2,500, while the $825 bonus needs $25,000. The $00 is the better return, but the $825 is still a good bonus.

Based on information from comments at Doctor of Credit, it looks like it’s best to go in-branch if you are applying with SSN. Otherwise, online should work.
