World of Hyatt Business Card, 75K Welcome Bonus Available Through Personal Referrals
Yesterday, Mark wrote about the new World of Hyatt Business credit card. We had already heard rumors of a new card, and it wasn’t exactly what we expected. It isn’t as “premium” as we thought, but at least it is a business credit card. So at least, it doesn’t count towards Chase 5/24 status.
While the World of Hyatt Business credit card wasn’t what we expected, it does have a great welcome offer and it provides lots of benefits. If you are planning to apply, you can do better than the launch offer of 75,000 World of Hyatt points.
You need a friend or family member who already has the personal card though. They can use their referral links to refer you to either the personal or the business Hyatt card. You get the 75,000 points welcome bonus and they get the 5,000 points referral bonus.
The referral link generated from the personal card will let you apply for either card, as shown below:
Conclusion
The new World of Hyatt Business card is a good product but with a $199 fee, falls behind some other Chase business cards. Chase Ink cards are a better option in my opinion, and you can transfer points to Hyatt if you have a Chase premium card.
But if you plan to apply for the World of Hyatt Business card, then at least do so through someone’s referral. If you’re in two player mode, then one can refer the other, even through the personal card.
