Conclusion
This is a good bonus for small businesses. We have seen the offer in the past, but it has been extended again and there is also a dedicated page on the Citi website that gives you more details.
You need to deposit a total of $200,000 in the account in order to get the largest bonus of $2,000. However, you do have other options that require smaller deposits. The smaller bonuses actually work out to a better APR.
It’s worth noting that you need to keep the money in the account for 45 days now compared to the 30+ days in previous offers.

Not sure if this is even a good one to bring up. Say you deposit 200,000 in a new citibank account for 2 plus months, and they give you a pittance of interest (and $1500). You could have that in AMEX SAVINGS OR MARCUS and get $1250 for that same 2 months. Is it worth the hassle? Keeping it at AMEX opens a lot of Amex doors and offers, but what will Citibank do for you? Nothing, as far as I can see.
With rising interest rates, these bonuses are not as good as they used to be. With $200,000, you would get a $2,000 bonus though. That’s better interest than you can get anywhere else for 2 months, but as you mentioned, it’s not not a huge bump with current rates.
It is really one month hold. Deposit by day 30 and hold through day 60.
Good point. Thanks Dave!
