Save $20 on Amazon When You Use Capital One Rewards

Update 9/21/20 – More people are being targeted. Ryan received an email for the offer this weekend.  He had to do the remove and re-add trick to get it to work but he was able to use the offer.

Capital One announced last year that you could start using rewards to shop on Amazon.com. This was already an option for other issuers. You can already use Membership rewards points from American Express, Ultimate Rewards points from Chase, ThankYou points from Citi, Discover Cashback and even Hilton Honors points. The best time to do this is when they have promotions. And now for the first time we are seeing a promotion from Capital One.

The banner above is showing up for some people when checking for this Membership Rewards promotion. However, it is not working properly. It shows a $20 discount for purchasing $80+ worth of items sold directly from Amazon and using at least one Capital One Rewards point for your purchase.

Conclusion

It’s good to see Capital One come out with these offers as well. It gives you yet another option to save money on Amazon purchases. They have been pretty generous lately with multiple offers for most credit card issuers.

If you see this Capital One promotion in your account, and if you have a direct link, please let us know.
