Using A Business Gold Referral Could Save You $295

American Express revamped the Business Gold card a few months ago. The card now has some 4X categories, more perks, a 50,000 Membership Rewards points welcome offer and an increased annual fee of $295.

Waived Annual Fee

Doctor of Credit reports that some people are seeing their annual fee waived when applying through referrals. The cardmember agreement that you get after approval, shows a $0 fee for the first year and $295 thereafter. It’s not a guarantee that the fee will be waived, but definitely a huge boost to the bonus if it is.

Conclusion

The welcome offer itself could easily be worth $700 or more. If you’re able to get the fee waived for the first year then you save another $295 while taking advantage of the card benefits for a year. It could be a temporary glitch, so don’t apply assuming that you will have the fee waived. If it is, take it as an added bonus.

Let us know if you have any luck.
