American Express is once again offering a signup bonus of 100,000 Membership Rewards points for the Business Platinum card. This offer is showing up when logging into your accounts online and to make it even better it has no lifetime language. Let’s take a look at the details.
Update 2/18/20: More people have been targeted. Check to see if you are targeted. (HT DoC)
Be sure to check for the targeted 125K personal Amex Platinum offer too.
The Offer
Earn 100,000 Membership Rewards® points after you spend $15,000 on qualifying purchases with the Business Platinum Card within the first three months of Card Membership starting from the date your account is approved.
Annual fee of $595 (not waived).
To see if you are targeted, log in on the American Express website and watch out for a pop up with the offer. This is even showing up for people who already have a Business Platinum Card. Conclusion
If you are looking to apply for the Amex Business Platinum card, the a 100K bonus is as good as it gets currently. The card has a huge annual fee of $595 but also gives you lots of value.
The public bonus right now is 75K and you can also get 85K via referrals. Referrals could be a good option, especially if someone can refer you and earn a 20K referral bonus as well. But keep in mind that the spending requirement for the 85K offer is $20K.

Funny how AMEX was giving so many customers the popup, and now they want us back. I couldn’t get another AMEX for almost two years and now I’m targeted and preapproved for a dozen credit cards.
P2 and I got 100k emails yesterday with lifetime language. However, we both received 85 k Upgrade offers on our bus gold cards w/o lifetime language via the amex website. We both have the bus plat.
I already have the Business Plat and I’m still getting this 100K offer…I wonder if it’s possible to have two for two different businesses?
I got the email. Would love to pick up the card, but I can’t possibly think of how to hit the $15k spending requirement in 3 months, even with taxes, etc. Too bad I didn’t get this offer last year, I usually travel a ton for my business and could have easily hit it. Oh well, maybe it’s just time to sit this one out.
Agreed. Both my wife and I got the offer on our business blue card. and we each had the card before. But I cannot figure out a way to spend the $15,000. No way I am chancing MS
