Amex Gold Airline Incidental Credit No Longer Available To New Applicants

We all knew the $100 airline incidental credit was dropping of the Amex Gold card at the end of the year because of the new Uber credits. But, we figured new applicants would have all year to take part in the fun too. According to Doctor of Credit that is not actually the case. It appears that anyone that has not signed up for the card AND selected an airline by 2/4/21 will not be able to get the airline incidental credit.

Here is a look at the terms:

So if you were in the market for the card and wanted to take advantage of the Amex Gold $100 credit you should grab it now.  There is no guarantee that you get it since you may not be auto approved. Because of that I wouldn’t rush into it but if you had planned to grab the card in a few weeks or months you might as well shoot for the moon.

You can also get a referral bonus if you have a player 2.
