Two New Amex Offers for Savings at Marriott and IHG
American Express has two new offers for savings on your hotel stays. One is for Marriott and the other for IHG.
We already wrote about a Marriott Amex Offer last week, but this is a new offer that’s showing up on business cards only. The IHG offer is also a new version of a previous offer that was set to expire at the end of August. This one goes on through mid September. Let’s see the details of these two offers.
Marriott Amex Offer
Get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Business Card to spend a minimum of $250 USD in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges at participating Marriott Bonvoy® properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean from 7/19/2022 to 10/13/2022.
- Offer valid only at participating Marriott Bonvoy® properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
- Reservations must be made online at Marriott.com, via the Marriott Bonvoy® App or by calling 1-888-236-2427.

IHG Amex Offer
Get a one-time $40 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $200 in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts from 6/3/2022 to 9/15/2022. Book at IHG.com.
- Offer valid at participating IHG properties in the US and US territories.
- Reservations must be made directly through IHG online at IHG.com, by calling 1-877-424-2449, or via the IHG® App .
- Valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
- Excludes The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas, The Palazzo® at the Venetian® Resort Las Vegas, IHG® Army Hotels, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith properties.
- Not valid for gift cards or IHG One Rewards points purchases.
- Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.
Conclusion
Check your American Express credit cards and hopefully you see these offers in your accounts. Each offer will save you up to 20% if maximized. You can usually purchase gift cards at the front desk as well to trigger the Amex Offer and lock in future savings. Gift cards are excluded in the terms but have worked in the past.
