I had heard about people that had maxed out the AU game but never went too deep myself. The effort to load and redeem that many offers just never appealed to me. On some of the best offers you could make a killing. But everyone who played the game got burned big time on the recent Staples clawback. Still interesting to see what some were able to do.

Chuck had another great post about Amex sending out emails to some who were owed points. It looks like if you had a referral or bonus in the past that didn’t post properly American Express may finally be giving you your due. It sounds like you have to have contacted them in the past, multiple times, to have a chance. Good to see that they are trying to make things right, even if it took them years for some. But overall another short coming of the least transparent lender out there right now.
