TBB had a table that showed top U.S. income tax brackets for about the last 100 years and the top bracket was 90% until JFK lowered it. While I don’t pretend that anything near 90% is sensible, Elon Musk making a number plus 10 zeros in a year without paying any taxes of note is nuts too.
