It is the Maldives I get it, it is going to be expensive.  But that isn’t the issue the issue is that there is a new category.  Hotel chains don’t make a new category and only leave 1 hotel in it.  At some point others will be moved into it.  I expect something similar with Hyatt’s category 8.

Southwest needs this expansion to be successful and they will do what it takes to win some market share.  This will cause others to lower their prices as well.  Competition is good for consumers!  Hopefully you were able to snag one of those companion pass deals for upcoming Hawaii travels.
