We have seen some pretty massive ones ($1000 Biz Platinum, $230 Hilton Business) on business cards but we are still seeing Membership Rewards offers too. Indeed weird that they had two hotels for Atlanta and didn’t even choose the Omni, which even overlooks the ball park! Come down for a soccer game and I’ll change your mind about Atlanta too 😉
That’s BS I just received a 55k Amex plat retention offer.
Cash only is not true. Just this week I was offered 30k miles or $150 to keep my Delta Platinum… clearly the miles were a better deal.
This was focusing on Membership Rewards cards but I have heard of points offers there recently too. Although I have seen a lot more cash only offers the last few weeks so it will be interesting to see if there is a shift more that way going forward.
