Latest Data Points on AMEX Retention Offers – The Miles Man

Interesting that the Amex reps told Eric that they are shifting to cash only offers. We have seen some pretty massive ones ($1000 Biz Platinum, $230 Hilton Business) on business cards but we are still seeing Membership Rewards offers too. Were the reps misinformed or is this a switch we will be seeing more and more going forward? Always be sure to check out our massive retention offer database before calling in.

Top Hotels for Traveling MLB Fans This Baseball Season – Travel Pulse

A fun article to click through for any baseball fans out there. Weird that they didn’t do it for every team though and twice for the worst stadium on the list, Atlanta.

Not often you get an exterior balcony in a major city. Pretty cool experience with what look to be pretty awesome views.

  1. Indeed weird that they had two hotels for Atlanta and didn’t even choose the Omni, which even overlooks the ball park! Come down for a soccer game and I’ll change your mind about Atlanta too 😉

  2. Cash only is not true. Just this week I was offered 30k miles or $150 to keep my Delta Platinum… clearly the miles were a better deal.

    • This was focusing on Membership Rewards cards but I have heard of points offers there recently too. Although I have seen a lot more cash only offers the last few weeks so it will be interesting to see if there is a shift more that way going forward.
