Award Wallet Covers So Many Types of Accounts

I use Award Wallet quite a lot and have written about the service a number of times. It is great to track your mileage balances across hotel, car rental and airline loyalty programs. For most programs it also tracks elite status and expiration dates, although the Plus service is required for some of that.

Shopping Portals

What a lot of people don’t know is that Award Wallet goes well beyond travel loyalty programs. Today I finally caught up with a task that has long been on my agenda. I finally added all of my shopping portal accounts into Award Wallet. Here are just some of the portals supported.

  • Ebates, Mr. Rebates, Top Cashback, BeFrugal, Upromise (Many more.)

The only major portal that seems to be missing is Splender. Since that just launched recently I imagine it will come online eventually.

Store Loyalty Programs

Some of the accounts I am tracking.

Beyond portals, Award Wallet also tracks store loyalty programs. Among the varied accounts I currently have the service tracking are:

  • My Best Buy, Staples Rewards, Kroger Fuel Rewards, CVS, Plenti, Shop Your Way and others.

It will even break down these accounts to show any coupons I have available or how many fuel points have accrued per month. This is really helpful, especially for stores I don’t visit often.

Banks & Credit Cards

This final set of accounts is probably more obvious, but I think it deserves mentioning. Award Wallet will track your credit card points too. I track accounts from the following programs:

  • Membership Rewards, Ultimate Rewards, ThankYou points, Flexperks, Discover Cash & more.

If you have multiple cards listed under a login, then it will break up your balances by cards. It can even parse out cash back and points on accounts that have cards that earn different types of rewards.

Private Information

One of the trade-offs of having this information in one place is that you have to give Award Wallet some login information. You do have the option to store the password information locally or with Award Wallet, however they still are tracking balances, etc. I personally don’t have an issue with it, but I understand some of you may and it is definitely a consideration to be aware of.

Award Wallet Beta

I had over 500 invites to Award Wallet Beta, but several hundred have been claimed. If you would like to try out the new interface, simply click this beta invite link. There are slightly over 150 beta invites left. If you have never joined Award Wallet, you can do so through this referral link and then go back and click the beta link to be upgraded.

Conclusion

I’m glad that I was finally able to get all of my shopping portal information imported into Award Wallet. Prior to now I was checking the sites manually which took too much time. Now that I have all of loyalty accounts across the spectrum linked up, I can spend less time on keeping up to date with these things and focus more on earning. If you’ve never looked deeply at the “Add Accounts” I suggest doing so. In addition to the programs I have mentioned there are hundreds more including dozens I have never heard of. Happy linking!

  1. Nice post man.

But everyone who may not be tech savvy must understand the HUGE security risks involved with aggregator services. You are giving Award Wallet keys to the kingdom regardless of using browser plugins to store passwords locally. Its a single point of failure. Every hackers slutty stripper pole dream.

But to each his own. I tell my friends why they need to actually LOG OUT of their online banking sessions and erase all cookies instead of selecting “KEEP ME LOGGED IN FOREVAAA – REMEMBER ME”.

    Then, I get this:

    -_- {zZzZz)

    Happy Holidays.

  2. Not relevant to this post – Anyone had success adding Etihad Guest account to Award Wallet? I have been trying to do that for several weeks, but keep getting errors.
