Bahamas Scraps Plans for Stricter Covid Testing Requirements
The Bahamas has updated its entry requirements this week. The country will not require travelers to have a mandatory RT-PCR test.
Prime Minister Philip Davis said in December the Bahamas would no longer accept rapid antigen pre-departure tests from vaccinated travelers starting Jan. 7. But that change is now scrapped. Vaccinated travelers, as well as children ages 2-11, can continue to present either a negative Rapid Antigen Test or negative RT-PCR Test.
Additionally, from January 4, 2022, all travelers remaining in The Bahamas for longer than 48 hours will be required to undergo another Rapid Antigen Test, regardless of vaccination status. Previously, only tourists staying longer than four nights and five days were required to take another test.
For vaccinated individuals entering the Bahamas, a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to the date of arrival in The Bahamas is necessary.
Unvaccinated travelers ages 12 and older must still present a negative PCR test and cannot use rapid tests. Travelers under the age of two will continue to be exempt from testing requirements.

Good. The entire world needs to scrap all this testing nonsense. Omi is outta the bag and it doesn’t matter how many doses of vaccine you’ve had. It doesn’t matter how many masks you’re wearing. It doesn’t matter how hard your country locks down. ALL this virus theatre is a failure. You WILL get Omni. It’s time the covid cultists face this fact and stop living in fear.
