The Final Deals of the Year – Save Money Before the Clock Strikes Midnight
It has been an amazing year of deals. While none of these are huge money makers, here are the last deals I have for you in 2014!
Free $10 Visa Prepaid Card from Bank of America
Bank of America and Visa Checkout are offering a free $10 prepaid Visa card. To get the bonus, simply enroll a BofA Visa debit or credit card when registering for a new Visa Checkout account. The deal is running through 1/8/2015.
This deal has been around a couple of months, but I just realized I hadn’t written about it. I just stumbled upon the deal page and thought some of you may have not seen it before. If you haven’t, be sure to enroll your cards before the deal ends in a week.
HT: Doctor of Credit
Terms:
To qualify for this offer, you must (1) create a new Visa Checkout account for the first time by [1/8/2015] via the “Enroll now” link above, via http://promo.bankofamerica.com/visa-checkout/ or the Visa Checkout link in Bank of America’s Online Banking, AND (2) add at least one consumer Bank of America issued Visa credit or debit card to the new Visa Checkout account during the initial account set-up (other cards do not qualify for this offer). Allow 60 days from Visa Checkout account opening for delivery of the Reward card to the billing address of the Bank of America issued Visa credit or debit card first added to the Visa Checkout account. Limit one (1) Reward card per customer. Bank of America may terminate this offer at anytime without notice. The value of this reward may constitute taxable income to you. You may be issued an Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 (or other appropriate form) that reflects the value of such reward. Please consult your tax advisor, as neither Bank of America, its affiliates, nor their employees provide tax advice. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or undelivered Reward cards.
If you have more than one BofA Visa debit or credit card, you should be able to get this deal more than once by opening up different Visa Checkout accounts with different email addresses. You can register for the promotion and find the full terms here.
Chime Card $3 Free at Starbucks
Chime is a prepaid debit card which differentiates itself by having instant rebate offers. (Works similar to Amex Offers.) Tonight they are offering $3 free at Starbucks to cardholders.
I only got the Chime card a couple of months ago and have saved quite a bit of money with their random deals. In addition to completely free offers like the one above, they also have others like $5 off $50 at Best Buy and $2 off $10 at Chipotle. The offers change all the time.
If you are interested in a Chime card, by signing up with my link and funding the account with $50, you will receive $10 free instantly. I held off getting one of these for awhile, but with all of the small deals, the savings adds up.
Targeted $20 Free Orbucks
Some Orbitz Rewards members reportedly have received $20 in free Orbucks for New Year’s. According to metalsolid on Slickdeals, the transaction shows as, “Dec 31, 2014 Happy New Year! Love, Orbitz Rewards Earned 20.00 Mar 1, 2015”
This is definitely a targeted offer since I didn’t receive any bonus Orbucks in my account. I am not a very active Orbitz member, so that could be the reason. Either way, head over to your account to login to see if you have a New Year’s surprise.
Conclusion
With it being New Year’s Eve there isn’t much going on in the dealsphere, however hopefully one of these three small deals will be of use to you. Have a great night and see you next year!
