CardCash Now Sells New Gift Cards
CardCash recently added a section of brand new gift cards, in addition to their normal second hand offerings. They offer 75 different brands in their new gift card section. Notable brands are Amazon, Best Buy, AMC, Southwest, and eBay. This is good news because it adds another way to earn 5x UR with the Ink Plus, Bold, or Cash (make sure you pay with PayPal). The new gift cards also come with less risk than the second hand cards CardCash normally sells.
Perks Of CardCash Adding New Gift Cards
There are a few perks of buying the new cards versus buying discounted second hand cards.
- Less risk involved versus second hand cards.
- You can specify an exact amount and you will get it in one gift card versus multiple.
- They should have a better supply.
- You can get larger denominations in a single gift card.
Conclusion
While a lot of these cards are already accessible at office supply stores or on PayPal Digital Gifts it is nice to see another option for earning 5x UR. The reduced risk versus CardCash’s normal second party gift cards is also a plus. You can trade in a slightly better return for more security which will appeal to the more risk adverse. Hopefully CardCash is able to grow their new gift card offerings as well.
What is unknown at this time is if their promo codes will work on the new gift cards too….one can hope at least!!!

Maybe it is just me, but I’m not jumping for joy at this because most of the main gift cards, (Best Buy, ebay, amazon) you could already buy at Staples or office Depot and get the 5% back. Many of them you could already buy from paypal digital gifts and get the 5%. So unless they will offer additional savings on these cards, I don’t see anything to get excited about. And I would much rather buy a physical card in store than an egift card, because all it takes is someone hacking your email to get the gift card number.
Fair points – most of the “big time” ones are available other places. The nice part about this is that you can purchase exact amounts where you usually have to buy in $25-50 increments with the other vendors. So if the bill is $215 you can buy it for that amount exactly.
We are still unaware if the promo codes will work on these gift cards as well which could make this even better.
